New 2009 Mazda RX-8 RS

Mazda has released a set of official images of their face-lifted RX-8 sports car ahead of its official unveiling at next week’s Detroit Motor Show.

Looking identical to the images that were leaked in a Japanese car magazine last month, the face-lifted flagship Mazda sports car features updates in the form of new headlights and taillights (with LED technology) and new front and rear bumpers.



Pictured in these images is the top-of-the-range RX-8 RS and while it appears that there will be no upgrades to the exisiting 177kW rotary engine, weight has been reduced and a shortened final drive ratio on models equipped with a six-speed manual fitted to improve acceleration times.

The RX-8 RS is also expected to get 19-inch alloy wheels, Recaro sports bucket seats and a rear spoiler as standard.



More technical specifications will be revealed after its preview at the Tokyo Auto Salon and Detroit Motor Show this month.

interior beda di jok aja.....mesin gak ada perubahan tetep 250 hp, cuma di light weight aja, jadi untuk ke top speed lebih cepet, ama tarikan lebih enteng...
tapi tetep aja dilimit ampe 180km/jam doang..... ::
