Cloverfield follows five New Yorkers from the perspective of hand held video camera. The movie is exactly the length of a DV Tape and a sub-plot is established by showing bits and pieces of video previously recorded on the tape that is being recorded over. The movie starts as a monster of unknown origin destroys a building. As they go to investigate, parts of the building and the head of the Statue of Liberty come raining down. The movie follows their adventure trying to escape and save a friend, a love interest of the main character.

MOMENT TO REMEMBER

The first segment of the film, staged in romantic comedy style, introduces the protagonists, a woman named Su Jin and a man named Chul Soo. The movie highlights their accidental meeting in a convenience store and confusion over a can of soda, followed by their subsequent courting despite the social standings that should have kept them apart.

The second segment follows the couple now settling into married life. Su-Jin learns to be a housewife as her husband cares for her. But as the segment progresses, Su-jin begins to display forgetfulness, including an incident in which a fire breaks out because of a forgotten stove. While Chul Soo caught the fire in time, the seriousness of the incident and others draw them to seek medical help.

The third segment involves the revelation of Alzheimer's disease and the couple's consequent response to it. Su Jin is heavily burdened by the knowledge that she will forget her husband and hides it from him at first until he seeks advice from the doctor himself. Despite the disease, they make the commitment to stay together and as the disease progresses, the trials the couple go through increase because of Su Jin's forgetfulness.

The fourth segment reveals Su-jin in the final stages of the disease and the grief Chul Soo experiences because of it. Yet he remains beside her, despite her lost memory, hiding his eyes behind sunglasses when he visits her so she can't see his tears.

THE WATER HORSE : LEGEND OF THE DEEP

In the 1940s in Scotland, young boy Angus MacMorrow lives in a large house with his mother and sister and a maid, and later also another servant. He has been told that his father has been killed in the war, but hopes this is not true. He discovers a mysterious egg and cares for what hatches of it: a 'water horse' that becomes the fabled Loch Ness Monster. As an old Angus explains in flash-forwards, there is always only one such creature: creatures of this species asexually reproduce through parthenogenesis, and always die after laying an egg.

Young Angus keeps the creature a secret, but later he tells his sister and the male servant. A group of soldiers is stationed in and near the house. The creature is sometimes attacked by the dog of the soldiers. It grows fast and is brought to the lake.

It is still friends with Angus, and lets him ride it underwater, coming to the surface from time to time for breathing. However, it suffers from shells shot into the lake for practice, and attacks the soldiers. At first it cannot leave the lake due to a net intended to catch possible German U-boats entering the lake, but later it succeeds. Angus finally accepts the creature's departure, and also that his father died.

ni ada pelem korea lagi, judulnya HaPPiNess...

sinopsisnya saya aja yg cerita ya..nyarinya susah soalnya...
jadi ada kisah tentang satu orang cowo yang (kebetulan) namanya yong su (ger...?), warga Seoul seorang pengusaha(? kali ya...)
dia itu peminum dan perokok berat, and one day he decided to go to a sanatorium called "House of Hope". Disana dia ketemu sama satu orang cewe yang namanya Eun Hee, seorang pasien juga yang paru2 nya hanya bisa bekerja 40%. Eun Hee bukan cuman pasien disana, tapi dia juga bantu - bantu mengelola rumah itu. Dan akhirnya mereka suka satu sama lain dan tinggal bersama. Tapi cowonya emang rada2 brengsek juga, dia balik lagi ke seoul untuk minum2,rokok dan kembali ke cewenya yg dulu pdhl si EunHee udah baek banget sama dia.
gimana kelanjutannya? ya nonton aja sendiri......

THE KING AND THE CLOWN / THE KING'S MAN

diliat dari judulnya sih harusnya pelem ini inggrisnya the King's Man..tp kenapa di beberapa tempat tulisnya the king and the clown ya, ada pula yg bilang Tears of the Clown. ya intinya ini pelem junki lah~!!
Based (in part) on actual events, King and The Clown is set during the reign of King Yonsan, a brutal tyrant who was dethroned in 1506. Jang-sang and Gong-gil are a pair of clowns (minstrels is more accurate) who earn a living by performing bawdy street plays for the lower classes. Polar opposites in every respect, there's tremendous affection between the two, though the true nature of their relationship is only hinted at. Jang-sang's macho, aggressive, outspoken demeanor is countered by Gong-gil's passive, demure, and rather effeminate poise -- it calls to mind Farewell My Concubine, a film King and the Clown definitely owes a debt to.

Forced to flee to Seoul after an unfortunate incident, the duo soon join forces with a local troupe, and it's not long before Jang-sang has the idea to perform a play that mocks the King and his favorite concubine, Nok-su. Naturally, this lands them in prison, but they are given the opportunity to perform their play for the king -- a troubled, borderline insane despot with daddy issues who surprisingly finds great joy in the clowns, and something far greater in Gong-gil.
